I was supposed to start that 1 month gig at Washington Mutual Bank today, but things did not go accourding to plan at all...

So, I get down there and the floor I am supposed to go to is a security floor so there is no one there I have access to. There is a note on the call list for floor access that says not to call the person I am supposed to be reporting to because she is working from home with an injury.
So I call my agent (hooray for that inter-office phone), who has no idea what is going on and puts me on hold while she tries to reach someone. No luck, so she asks me to call back in a half hour. So I do, still no luck and try again in a half hour. So I do, STILL no luck, so hang on... still no luck... so they sent me home and will find out what is up and get it all figured out for tomorrow.

They are apparently paying me for the 2 hours I was hanging around waiting for them.

At least the cats are both happy I am home and curling up in the bed with the laptop. I am thinking I will take a nap, insead of making myself crazy waiting for Spydrman to hop online or the phone to ring with information.

on the bright side, I got a photobucket account all set up. Next I will get on task with cleaning up photos for web hosting and get them slapped up. Wheeeeeee.

Hi Stax, I am new to this and drageed through in it by a a friend and coworker so to speak. We were in Washinghton through our tour few days back.. We did a search for Goth and industrial people and you came up. You seem very interesting. Would you mind if I add you as a friend?....and if yes ....would you do the same?...thank you for your time and I hope that sometime down the road , we will chat. Bonne nuit ami.

actually, after doing a little bit of poking around, it looks like I am the only person you have contacted on livejournal at all. Why do you not have the friends who "dragged you through it" listed?

And how is it possible that I am the only person whose name came up on your search?

This LJ is like 2 days old.I will never put any people on friends list. Well in a visible way that is. Its just here for communication besides AIM or Yahoo. Throwing random thoughts and all. As for the people that got me into this, I see them and work with em every stinkin day. I am actually trying to get way from them for a bit ,heh. And no you are not the only person that came up on my searches, you were the one I happen to send a "hey".
I am a very private person when not in public eye so starting with one person here suits my cryptic soul for now. But listen, Its not a big deal. If this puzzles you or scares you or who knows what else, you dont have to do anything. Really. Nobody will get their fellings hurt. Nevertheles, thanks for replying.

see, this makes more sense. I am pretty wary because I *have* been stalked several times so the lack of replies to anyone else, the lack anyone listed on your friends list, and all of that - well, to be the first one to be contacted is one thing, but to be the *only* person contacted was a little focused for someone that is looking to make new friends. I would have thought you would contact a couple instead.

But thanks for replying back to me.

I have a thought (seeing as you do not seem terrifically dangerous to me) - I will keep an eye on your LJ, and you are totally welcome to add me to your friends list/read my lj posts that are public. If I can get a better feel for what you are all about, I will likely add you to my friends list. How does that sound?

Sounds good and thank you...The stalking story is awful. I have been a victim of that myself few times but thats the nature of the bussines and it sucks. Downright scary.
In unrelated way (sorry bout that..i have to run too)...Im blown way by this monitor i got here. Its the new Mac 30 inch display. I think im going to have to sleep with it tonight...ahaha.
Later...talk soon.
PS: Im sure ( i hope) that you will like some of my posts.
Have a nice night.
Oh, I always concidered myself "terrifically dangerous"...:)
