It is owned and operated by a woman (presumably Rosie) and her daughter.

They have been there for about 23 years.

you can bring in 10pieces from your own collection for an estimate.

seriously, if you like sparklies (or know someone who does) GO THERE!! Best place ever for rhinestones.

they don't advertise at all. And they are the nicest ladies ever!!! Go check it out!! THEY RULE!!!

It's certainly not your job to know this, but do they do any other kind of jewelry alteration or repair? I have a vintage rhinestone weasel brooch that I can't wear because the pin part doesn't hold up the weight of the brooch - the whole thing sags downward. It needs to have *something* done to it to make it wearable. Well, at least they might enjoy seeing the piece, if they love rhinestone jewelry so much!

Way back in the dark ages when Evaria was about 4 or 5, I was in charge of the Sears Sewing School, back before they discontinued it. One of my students was a lovely 70 year old lady named Jane, who had been a professional dancer back in the late 1920's and early 1930's. She ended up giving me a lot of her costumes and tons of rhinestone jewelry she'd worn on stage, and she used to take all her stuff to Rosie's for repair and cleaning. One of the many things that Jane taught me about that I'm ever so grateful for.

She's a great lady, and there's always something in her shop I have to take home with me. She's reasonable in her prices too. I have a rhinestone necklace I picked up somewhere else all in red stones, and I favor the blue end of the spectrum, so she reset the stones for me and applied a discount for every red stone I let her keep and reuse. She does some pretty cool stuff for charities too. Ask her if she has pictures of the rhinestone shoe and shoeprint she did about 8 years ago for a charity auction. It was amazing!
