Kira posted this info on the SeaGoth forum, which has a section under General Discussion with the subject of Bear.

Saw Bear last Saturday at a barbecue. The topic of "what we want to happen when we die" came up in a conversation with a group of people, and Bear expressed he didn't want a memorial til about three months after his death. He said he wanted everyone to make a piece of art to represent what he meant to them/his influence and inspiration to them, and come together to display the art as a memorial. He also talked about displaying the art on his website. The idea of inspiring people like that made him smile. :)

I'm not certain who all he told that information to, but I wanted to mention it for anyone looking to honor his memory. Please pass this on.
