"you're so amazing"

you know - a lot of you have said something along these lines to/about me. A lot of people get all impressed with how I can stand up so well to all the shit that falls on my head and keep smiling. I get asked all the time how I can do it.

And I just think about my sister.

As much shit as I go through, put up with, deal with - it's not even half of what she goes through, puts up with, or deals with. If *I* am amazing, then my sister is phenomenal. She is the strongest person I know.

And while I can not always be there for her, I am always thinking of her, and I always love her. My sister rocks.

Blood sister or one of your chosen family sisters?

Also, I was talking with someone the other day... there is strength that allows women to endure hardship, and then there is another, healthier kind of strength that is all about being steadfast to one's intrinsic sense of right, self-worth, etc.

I strive for the latter.

the only blood relative I have on my father's side that I *know* for sure. Well, her and her daughter.

both are healthy. There are hardships that are endured that have nothing to do with choices we make or the people we are, really. For me, the latter is easy - that takes no strength or effort on my part because it is *who I am*. The standing up in the face of devistation after devistation is the hard part.

A certain distant cousin could really use some more descriptive information in his email or on his phone sometime as to the who's and where's of what is happening.

Then again, maybe a certain distant cousin ought to get off his phone-avoiding buttocks and call if he wants to know these things. =)

an update on his condition

Here is the latest update on Staxxy's sister's husband:

The latest update is that they are going to bring in new neurologist totally unfamiliar to the case, etc... for a impartial 3rd party opinion of his condition.

He is still in intensive care, on life support and in a coma. Staxxy's sister is holding up she actually got to go home and rest some last night, and her young one is doing well.

This sort of thing does not update often so no news is good news or at least not bad news. I will keep you posted as information becomes available.

Yes, 'Lista is quite a strong woman, and so are you. Bear, Wolf and I were there with her, Amber and quite a bit of Richards family, including all of his kids. We were there when you called also. ;-) 'Lista, took Bear and I in to see Richard as her Preist and Priestess. It was actually quite wonderful, as he channeled thru me and above me and planted a big whopping kiss on her. Just about bowled her over. It was quite amazing to witness. He was calm and peaceful and quite playful as he was coursing thru me to Calista. It did her so much good.
