working on a Staxxy 2002 disc

staxxythis would be the current *me* cd, distilled thru the music I have available to me.
last years disc included:
Tank! - Seatbelts
Lain - Duvet
Sting - Lullaby to an Anxious Child
Pink Floyd - the day the Tigers Broke Free
Vandals - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes / Less than Jake - Some of my favorite things
Suzanne Vega - Queen & the Soldier
Gallowglass - Queen of Argyle
Sting - 1000 years
and a few others... it also included various quotes, some from Empire Records, and some from Snatch.
I have just begun to put the new one together.. it promises to be just as ecclectic.
If any of you want me to make you one, let me know here. and for that matter, if you want the 2001 issue and don't have it yet, I can make you one of those too, let me know tho.

ditto for you is kinda confusing... um.. maybe it is too early...
I have LOTS... (read over a thousand or so) mp3s currently. I have burned them onto discs. I must have about 50 or 60 cds of mp3s. Which doesn't touch the 300+ cds I have on the shelf currently...
I am a bit of a media junkie... especially when it comes to *music*....

Date: 2002-09-05 09:02 am (UTC)I have SO many compilation CDs already. MY problem is listening all the way through EVERY damn song before I decide to put them onto a disc. You wouldn't believe how many comp CDs I've made for people that had incomplete songs on them... Tres tacky.
As for junkie-hood: I'm not only a member, but I'm also... eh, you know the joke.

2002 is in process, I expect to have it done in November, maybe earlier if I am truly motivated *and* have time. Somehow I doubt the time thing will happen tho.

Of course, I would have trouble deciding between songs I like and ones that reflect my current personality. :)

Date: 2002-09-05 09:59 am (UTC)I think I have almost everything Sting has done since he went Solo. I am working on getting the Police stuff still. I have soundtracks and tributes that he has sung on too. And miscellaneous songs he has done elsewhere as well.
I love Sting. I put at least one Sting song on every *me* cd. :)
and the Floyd Song is actually from the Movie the WALL, but it isn't on that album. Um... I grabbed it on the internet, and I can't for the life of me remember which album it is actually *on*. :(
