memorial - Carpooling?

I was thinking we might be wise to set up some carpooling to the Memorial. I know a few people have asked if they can get a ride in.

If you can let us know here if you are coming from the eastside and willing to carpool, the north end and willing to carpool, or the south end and willing to carpool we would really appreciate it. Maybe we can come up with some good gathering spots to make this happen efficiently.

no news. There won't be any news before the end of September. There really *won't*.

Because there is no criminal investigating anticipated the bloodwork is very low priority and they ME is seriously backlogged. So, we wait.

I'll be coming from the north end in my car. I'm not sure yet if Dean will be coming with me (he never met Jessica and I'm not sure if he would be comfortable attending or not) -- if he ends up going, I will be able to fit two others in my car. If he doesn't come along, I will have room for three in addition to myself.

A number of people who knew her from highschool (including me) will be carpooling from the Eastside. I let a bunch of know about what happened and was surprised by the response of people who wanted to attend; people who liked her a lot but hadn't seen her regularly for a number of years. I think we're all so shocked by losing one of our own so young that solidarity seems like a good thing right now. The shitty thing is that at times like this, we're all kicking ourselves over not spending more time with her... but how can anyone know this was coming? *sigh* It could have been any one of us that went first. In any event, yeah.. carpooling will be happening.
