Am I overly picky that I want the document to have proper and consistant grammar, or am I just better at my job than the person who made the document I am working from?

This kinda stuff bugs the crap out of me. It really just seems like no one was paying any attention. :( This is exactly the sort of thing that gives assistants a bad name, and the worst part is that the speed it looks like this was done with was probably praised, even though I find the quality to be severely lacking.

*humph*..

ok, that's enough out of me on the poor English skills rant.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled day.

You and me, I feel you, sister-girl. I HATE bad grammar. And in a professional document there is no fucking excuse.

No one showed me the new vendor portfolio until after they signed them. Then when I saw it, and there were a dozen errors in the first half page, I said, "Please tell me you didn't sign with these assholes." They had, and in the first week we had problems. Go fig.

I'm with you too. Illiterate people should be issued garden or cleaning tools and kept away from computers and writing implements.

This has to be the best Idea I have heard in ages!!

I wouldn't even mind it so much if the person who put this together weren't supposed to be a consumate professional at it. :(

That's the part that sticks in my craw really.
