staxxyI was afraid that my taking a couple of days off in the last pay period because I was ill would cut into my check, but it they just credited me the days from my sick leave this year, and I got full pay. HOORAY!!
Extra hooray because I made a sanity purchase today. *sigh* OK, I totally broke down (not like a mental break down, just a budget one) and had to get a new music player for the bus rides and stuff. I have been going CRAZY on the bus with no music. I mean, REALLY nuts. (KILL KILL KILL) So I went to the Rite Aid around the corner from my office because they sell some fairly decent electronics stuff... and I was *going* to get a cd player and then maybe in a few months find an MP3 player... and they had an all in one for 30$ more than I was *planning* to spend, but YAY... I have both.. and it will play MP3 discs.
HOORAY FOR MODERN TECHNOLOGY!!
And... Thomas gave me a new cd. I thought he was just letting me listen to it, but NO... it is for me to KEEP.. YAY... NEW MUSIC.. it is a band called Hat Makes The Man. They sound a lot like Uncle Bonzai (for those of you that remember *them*).
Color me THRILLED.
