(no subject)

day dreaming about future plans with my apartment again.

I want to turn my back bedroom into a library/work space. I want to turn my dining room into a photo studio so I can shoot models again, but I also want to get the dining room set that was my great grandfather's out of my mothers storage and have dinner parties with a few friends periodically.

Mostly it occurred to me, while going thru my friends' LJs that it would be really nice to just invite small clusters of friends over for dinner casually. Give people a chance to actually talk to each other when it is not so LOUD or even just FRANTIC. Like the Merc, Fish, or Vogue...

Besides, I have a hereditary NEED to have dinner parties. I get it from both of my parents, and from all of my adopted family back in Yak... Maybe it's an older gay man thing. I dunno. But now I really just itch in my soul to make dinner for a few friends (like 4 at a time) and introduce them to each other.

would any of you be interested in coming to my place for dinner later this summer?

We (damashita, alexander and i) almost dropped in for an impromptu visit on our way back through town yesterday, but i wasn't sure if you were feeling enough better to be put on the spot entertaining, and it was pretty much dinner time anyway, so we didn't stop. You can hit me later if you want.

what's the matter with you? did you not have you CELL PHONE with you man? Heh, that's why you call ahead. Then you *know* for sure.

Actually, around dinner time I was either at the store or actually eating dinner. But I possibly could have been up for social time. It would really have depended on what time exactly and what I was doing then. :) But I am usually up for drop in visitors. I love to have company.

Life happens, to all of us. We had a lot of time together many years ago. We used it when we had it. We will have time together again in the future. It will come when it comes Sis. No worries.

It would be fabulous to have an intimate dinner thing with you and some others. You need to meet my new boy, we need to catch up, etc. I'm daydreaming about my new place (not moving in for a few weeks, though) too. ;)

A no Mooks allowed rule? If it does I'm out, BUT, if not I'd drive a hundred and fifty-three miles for a meal. (I would've asked if there was going to be food at this party, but that was already used.)

I might even make sheppards pie... or my Meatloaf.. and you could crash over for the weekend... and have my meatloaf sandwiches in the middle of the night ;)...

I am sooo thrilled by all the positive responses I have gotten. I wont be having any dinner parties before July at the earliest tho. I have to get the house put together properly and then I have to get the table from my moms storage.

If your German, Its German Shepards pie. I would rather eat meatloaf, than listen to meatloaf. I think Meatloaf once ate a sandwich, although he probably ate eight. He needs the Subway diet. Either that, or the Pigs-Foot, and Yoo-Hoo diet.

Have you noticed that I have been dodging your question? I don't have a fixed date. Before September, but later than yesterday. A lot depends on how soon I can transfer from work.

Should be over for a visit the weekend of, or before my birthday. Probably the weekend before. (Before 6-27) So I'll know more then..
