Feeling the love...

staxxyI had a pretty good evening, movie night at Raven's place followed by going to the Vogue.
Movie night was a lot of fun, more than the usual crowd there. I showed several of my poems to Dave who is visiting Raven from LA and he loved them. It made me happy to share them with someone who enjoyed them. I will be emailing with him in the future. And John and Amy came!! YAY!! Amy is sooo skinny now, it makes me sad and worried about her. I am glad she is on an IV feed that she can tote around tho. She gave me a foot rub!! WOW... they still feel pretty good. YAY!! and Mr. Mensch was the biggest doll ever, and brought me a bottle of Blueberry syrup from his work... YAY!!! and more YAY!! I am drinking blueberry 7up as I type... MMMMMM yummy!!!
The Vogue was really really fun. I met a lovely girl named Maxx who is terribly cute and fun to flirt with. *sigh* And I met this great hunk of a man named Derek who was terribly sweet and cuddly too... mmm the cuddly goodness.
The oddest part of the whole evening was having a weird conversation with Deirdre about everybody loving me. I told her that not everyone does. But I really was feeling loved at the club tonight. It was really nice to go out and have it just be a good time for me. Lately there has been at least one downer each night that has really affected the rest of the evening...
The whole love conversation concluded later with Tiina in the car on the way home when we drove past Minnies Cafe. She asked if we needed to stop for food and I told her that I do not eat there anymore. And why. (which will be in another post)...
I was feeling kinda down from that, but I came upstairs, dropped off my gear, changed to comfy clothes and made myself a blueberry 7up, and DAMN if that doesn't make everything all better. :) J, you Rock so Hard. I think this may be my new comfort food. ;)

You are well liked and it's because you truely care about people and you are friendly and accessible.
Sorry about your Minnie's experience. I ate their once and their customer service was so poor that I never returned. This was several years back. I'm amazed that they stay in business.

And yes, Maxx is very nifty. :)
