I think I am ready for the interview now
Jul. 17th, 2002 11:23 pmIn my folio I have:
1 copy print out the pdf application they e-mailed to me all filled out
1 copy of my resume
1 list of personal/professional references
1 CD with the PowerPoint Presentation and my resume in electronic form, labeled :D
1 print out copy of the slides in my PowerPoint Presentation
2 sets of the Letters of Recommendation I have (original plus one photocopy)
1 copy of the list of 20 questions to ask the interviewer
1 yellow legal pad to write information down
my wallet
Directions to the office with maps
I have painted my nails dark red, and put a gloss coat on as well
I have my long red skirt, black light knit shirt, red blazer all laid out I will iron them in the morning
my shoes and tights and everything is all set out ready to go
I think I may just be as ready for this interview as I can be. I think I may be more ready for this interview than any interview I have ever had. I feel organized, and efficient, and on top of things.
Why am I still so nervous? Why do I feel like it still won't be enough, like *I* won't be enough?
Honestly, this is my first interview since I actually got over the depression. I think that the depression had a lot to do with me not getting jobs in the past. And, while I do *need* this job, I actually really *want* it.
so any last minute advice or suggestions?
Possibly the best advice I could have

Those 2 sentences helped me calm down *immediately*. you really are the best little brother ever. I just wish I had known you were my little brother sooner. ;)
I will maintain my cool tomorrow.
I may even attempt to go zen beforehand.
just reading my friends list then off to sleep.
*smoochies*
