so now I have to choose going to Autumn War (which really I have to go to, it's the *big* event for the Korsairs) or going to the Absynthe tasting party (lots of people, lots of bottles of Absynthe to taste). Possibly a one time deal, I dunno, maybe a reoccurring event.

why is it that the rest of the month (for the most part) is unbooked, but this *one* weekend has to be doubled up?

It ;ooks liek Jason will be made an "official" apprentice fr Mishka at court during Autumn War. If not at court, it will still be at the event around out camp fire and will include many guests, to include the king and queen as well as a handful of other cool pointy hat types.

Besides, who wants to rot their brain on wormwood? Blech!

Come visit us at the Clan Carn (http://www.clancarn.com) camp! You can't miss us, since we're one of the largest groups at AW. Look for the entrance towers with the flaming torches on top, unless it's been dry.

It's a shame about the timing of AW, because I wanted to send Barbarian off to play gothindustrial paintball with the SG crowd as a ringer.

I will. I shall be day tripping with Jason and Krista... so I shall prolly spend a healthy chunk of my time at the Highland Korsair's encampment (since this is the group that I am the last remaining founder of), part of my time at court (since we are friends with the current King and Jason is being made into an apprentice for Mischka there), and I will try to come find you with the time I have left over baby. :D

I have been wondering exactly *who* "WeaselMom" is for a couple of weeks now... I am pleased that it is *you*... so now you are in my friends list as well. :D

I think this may be just the thing to do each month. to prevent this sort of thing from happening in the future.

Yep! That's precisely why I do it every month. Not just for my own recollection, but so others know what I'm up to (to invite themselves along) or to be able to plan other activities with that knowledge.

it certainly helped me... I was trying to figure out when Autumn War was.
