Memorial/Wake information

We will be holding both the Memorial and the Wake on August 29th. The Memorial will be in the afternoon and the Wake will be in the evening, afterwards.

While there are more personal ways of doing this, none of them are quite as efficient for having the numbers at our disposal quickly. Please forgive that we are doing a poll for this information but it is the easiest way for us to handle it and to get a count that is even remotely accurate, or at least a good place to start. We need this information so we know what Size of place to get for the Memorial. We also need to know how many people to prepare for at the Wake (where there will be food, etc.)

Please check all that apply. If you wish to speak at the memorial, please make sure I have your contact information. You can email me at staxxy @ hotmail.com with it. We can not promise that *everyone* who wishes to speak will be able to, but we will do everything we can to make sure everyone has a chance to.

(also, if you have followed this link from one of the above places and are interested in helping out, please keep an eye out for requests for help here. If you go back a few posts we have one up, and there will be more request for help posted over the next few days.)

We aren't going to play favorites with this, this is all about Jessica and not about any of us involved in making the arrangements. Just in case anyone is afraid that they won't be included for reasons of politics. Just to be clear, yet AGAIN.

And, speaking of being clear, I would like to refer back to my post here and state that EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO GRIEVE. Just in case anyone has forgotten this, and thinks that they don't have the right to come. (which is why there is no option for this). More details and planning posts will come later. Everything will still be posted in this journal, that you may need to know or respond to.

Also, be aware that I can not do EVERYTHING myself (I can post it here for everyone's convenience and ease, though). We are finally at the point with planning that I can delegate things to others. icprncs and tardoramawill be arranging the Memorial service, so do not be stunned if you receive email from one of them on this. They will be identifying themselves in it. :)

My work schedule will make it impossible for me to attend either of them. I wish it were different, but as a new hire, I can't request any time off for 90 days.

As long as my grandfather doesnt pass and his funeral isnt that same day. Logan and I both will be at both the wake and the memorial.
