Hi,

I didn't know Jessica. I would like to know more about her. When you collect everything are you going to share on LJ?

I've been very sad for you and those who knew her. I just wanted to let you know I've been keeping you in my thoughts and admire your strength where it is needed. Thank you for sharing this very personal time with us, out here in LJ world. I really don't know what else if anything to say.

I ran across your loss of Jessica on dove's journal. I am saddened by your loss. I lost my brother at 25 for reasons we will never know. I am sorry, please know you and her loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers.

I only met Jessica a few times. I admired her spirit and courage. She was so sincere, and passionate, and seemed like a terrific person. I wish we had time to know each other better. She came to me for help and I guess it's natural to feel like I should have done more for her. The guilt of the ones who remain is always there. And the wish to have done something different, something more, something better, that too remains. But I remember her smile, a last wave goodbye, and her last phone message to me. Thanks for having this place to post memories, I wish I was brave like her, and could be public with my sorrow, but I'm not, and I can't. So for this moment, goodbye Jessica, I hope you are in a much happier place now.

I hope to get some stuff thrown together from middle school, high school and our 20s. I have voicemails saved from her from this last year in .wav format. I think have some drawings somewhere of hers and a fragment of a decorated t-shirt from an AWESOME slumber party her mom threw for her 15th birthday. Weirds stuff like that. I have a mix tape she made for me back in '96.

My scanner is not working, I have a whole stack of pictures I am trying to get into electronic form ASAP. *sigh*
