Memorial Service for Jessica

staxxyThe memorial service for Josefine K (Jessica Wilkinson) will be held on Sunday, August 29 at the Husky Union Building (HUB) on the University of Washington campus, in room 106B. The service will start at 3:00 p.m.; people can start arriving from 2:30 p.m. on.

This is a map of the campus; if you click on the red circle, it will zoom in to the central campus area where the HUB is. The directions that the UW provides for getting there are not recommended as there is construction going on right now that blocks that route.
What has been recommended is that people park in the Central garage, the entrance of which is located on 15th Ave NE. You can reach 15th Ave NE from NE 45th--the garage is south of 45th. [I'm going on the assumption that folks can find their way to NE 45th.] From the garage, go through the doors with the signs for Gerberding Hall, up the stairs and outside. Walk towards the fountain, then turn left and follow the path under the archway. The HUB is the building at the end of the path. We will have signs up to direct people.
I will get bus information later.
This service is for Josefine's family and UW colleagues as well as her friends, so it will be a diverse group. The most important thing is that we will all be there to remember her.
The wake will be at Mercury in the evening. Details on that will be forthcoming.
