auspicious beginnings for the day

staxxyon the bus to Mercer Island the lid of my new player broke. WTF?! less than 24 hours and it is broken already. Color me unhappy. :( so I have to take it back and get it replaced later today (after the store opens).
nice.
get into the office... and there is an ENTIRE STRIP of lights out (3 lights wide, the entire length of the office for a total of 12 lights out), while nice for *me* (cause I hate the light) it is BAD for the architects that need the light to DRAW!... *sigh* (I called our management company and they said someone is on their way down to fix it now.)
Yesterday afternoon the elevator was out... I am wondering if this building has faulty wiring.
I hope the day is better than the morning has been.
for all that I am still in a good mood.
color me chipper.

I work near the Post Office. Actually I can see the roof of the Post Office from my office. ;)
it is Kitty Corner to the Bank of America on 30th.
