busy Sundays

so today I got up, spent a few hours in the living room hanging out with Mickey. and then it was off to forage for sustenance in the wilderness with my brother Rodney (drover for nearly 2 hours and had breakfast about 2 miles from where i live in the end. heh.

came home and sent out 3 applications for jobs I do not expect to get and for the most part am less than thrilled about applying for.

and I got the list of Pratchett books put together so I know what I am missing. and...

and the new book.. Nightwatch

I have the others.


so now I have the list and I can be careful to tick them off. And keep track of them so I do not purchase duplicates again. ;)

How about "The last hero" (well illustrated oversize), "The amazing Maurice and his educated rodents" (hardback, got it from the UK and it seems to have gotten under the radar) and "Nanny Ogg's cookbook" (including banana soup surprise, celery astonishment and primal soup)?

got all 3. :D (and tracking down the cookbook was a PAIN!!! I had to order it from England *sigh*, didn't know how to reach you at the time and it was before I got back in touch with Jilli).

but going off *this* list...
I only have Johnny and the Dead.

and one of these days I am going to have party and serve Strawberry Wobbler, except I am going to use an ice cream instead of a sherbet.

Ooh, I hate buying duplicates. I've been meaning to make a couple of lists of series so I can start filling in the gaps, but I'm frightened enough of the state of my bookshelves to keep putting that task off. ;-)

well some of our series are on one shelf so I just make a list and go and cross them off in order of the books on the shelf...

I have 2 copies of 2 of the books. *sigh*
