but it is about time. specifically mine.

so I am cutting back my friends list. If you want to know specifically why *you* were cut (for those of you that are..) please e-mail me. or reply here. I just can't keep up with everyone on my friends list now. I do not have that much time anymore. *sigh*.

It doesn't mean I don't love you anymore.

It mostly means that your life and my life have too little in common and the number of times I have actually responded to your posts is dramatically lower than some of the other people I am friends with, *and* that I do not know you really in person that much.

*sigh* I hate doing this, but I really really really must. it is really out of hand.

I've considered doing the same recently myself... but I plan on keeping you around, because I enjoy reading your entries. So you're definitely a keeper (one of very few who would survive a major list cut, IMHO).

my cuts weren't that major really.

there are a lot of people that are still on my list mostly because they are fairly innocuous there. They never post... I will probably be trimming them shortly.

I have 2 people on my list that I let take up that much space, and always will. But they are people I knew well before I got LJ.

Right now, I only know you from Anna's party. There are a couple of people from that party that I keep around but I see them all time too. That and we have many many things in common.

I hope to see you sometime soon like. and if I find that our paths cross more often and stuff I will probably add you again in the future.

I hear you, I'm about to do the same thing, I am simplifying my life as much as possible lately. For LJ I've mostly been using filters view, but I dislike filters for anything but posting, really. Hope your life seems simpler after this (as I hope it will for me too), and I'm sure I'll see you around eventually, we have so many friends in common. well let me say this:

1) making or not making the cut is about people I actually *see* in my real physical life.

2) no one that has actually been added to my friends list at any point is someone I do not like, and I still really like a lot of the people I had to cut.

3) really, it amounts to time. I cut a lot of people that post about things that I do not relate to really at all.

4) you and I have many things in common and actually see each other fairly regularly really. Well for the amount I actually do go *out*. So yeah, you will still be here in the finalest of final cuts.
