I feel better at last

so back to work with me today. :D

well....

here I am at work. 9:15 and I am still feeling ok. :D YAY...

I think I finally licked this crud. I am still low on energy really, but that is just a matter of time and more rest. The flu itself is no longer eating away at me.

On a brighter note, I did call Vulturey Jeff yesterday. He is hanging about at home. I feel his pain, bored and all... I wish I had a car and could bring him books and games to play...

so the IT guys were here from California last week, and installed my cd burner... but somewhere in that process, my headphones no longer get all of the sound channeled to them. For some reason, if I plug my headphones into the front of my machine at the headphone jack, I get music in them *and* coming out of my computer speaker. This is a big unhappy, cause it means that I can't listen to music at work, like I was. It means lots of long long afternoons until I can fix it.

anybody know where the secret button may be hiding?

otherwise I will have to break down and get some headphones that plug into the sound card in back. bleh... that would be a major pain in the ass...

so now I have to choose going to Autumn War (which really I have to go to, it's the *big* event for the Korsairs) or going to the Absynthe tasting party (lots of people, lots of bottles of Absynthe to taste). Possibly a one time deal, I dunno, maybe a reoccurring event.

why is it that the rest of the month (for the most part) is unbooked, but this *one* weekend has to be doubled up?
